		<description>I don&#039;t think Open office competes Microsoft Office in any way. We have seen many variants of open source free wares in the past, like Star office too but they haven&#039;t been able to compete with MS Office. The stiffest competition that MS OFFICE faces today is from Google docs I Think.. Google docs are updated frequently and they have started to show many features in MS Office, and not to mention anywhere access.</description>

		<description>It really is the only competing word processor to Word, isn&#039;t it? I don&#039;t really Wordperfect now or those many others before. I like how they&#039;ve made a free plugin to make OpenOffice files accessible in Word. As good as OpenOffice is, I don&#039;t think they&#039;ll beat Word though.</description>
