VISTA: Change Start Menu To Use Small Icons

Windows Vista uses large icons in the start menu as the installation default.  If you want to change this, follow the simple steps listed below:

1. Right-click the Start button, select “Properties”.
2. Click “Customize”.
3. Uncheck “Use large icons”.

That’s all there is to it.  Exit back out of the “Properties”, and click START.  The icons should now be smaller than before.
