Here are the basic steps needed to import your Outlook Express email into Outlook.  It is necessary that Microsoft Outlook first be configured for your email account.
1. Open your e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook.
2. Click File Menu >> Import and Export.
3. Select Import Internet Mail and Addresses.
4. Click Next.
5. In the “Select the Internet Mail application to import from” box, select Outlook Express.
6. Check (or uncheck) appropriate boxes for Import Mail, Import Rules, and Import Address Book.
7. Click Next.
NOTE: The boxes you select depend on what email components you have created in Outlook Express.
8. In the Import Addresses window, select an import option in the Options section.
Go ahead and “Allow Duplicates to be Created”.  You can delete duplicates afterwards.
9. Click Finish.
10. Click OK.
