Three more things you shouldn’t do when running Sysprep on a Windows Vista computer.
Here are three more things you shouldn’t do when running Sysprep on a Windows Vista computer:
1. Don’t run Sysprep on a computer that has been in use by users (i.e. only run Sysprep on new installs of Windows).
2. Don’t run Sysprep on a computer that is joined to a domain (Sysprep will remove it from the domain).
3. Don’t run Sysprep on a computer that has files that have been encrypted using EFS (unless you want to say goodbye to the content in these files forever!)
