Resetting the Nickname and Auto Complete Cache in Outlook XP
Resetting the Nickname and Auto Complete Cache in Outlook XP
Within Outlook 2002 stores a nickname list, and is automatically generated, and this list is used within auto completion features and name checking features. If the cache is damaged in anyway then problems could arise in the identification of recipients of mails, the completion of recipients email addresses and in turn could lead to emails being sent to the wrong addresses.
The nickname cache though is easily reset.

1. Exit Outlook
2. Start-up Windows Explorer
3. Within Tools, choose Folder Options and then go to the View tab
